THIS DIRECTION RELATES TO: Mineral Claim (MC) 4536 known as "Neil's Pit". Property Description: land described as Certificate of Title Volume 5464, Folio 129. REQUIREMENTS: In relation to the suspected hydrocarbon spill located along the northern wall of Neil's pit; 1.SA Crushing & Minerals is directed to: 1.1 Engage a suitably qualified and experienced professional, to determine the nature andextent of impacts in accordance with the National Environment Protection (Assessment of Site Contamination) Measure 1999 (as amended 2013) and furnish the Department with a comprehensive report. The report must detail; a.The place where the incident occurred (using appropriate co-ordinates ordistances from significant topographical features); b.The type of substance spilled; and c.The approximate quantity of the spillage; and d.The conditions or circumstances that caused or contributed to the spillage; and e.The nature and extent of any damage to the environment that occurred as aresult of the spillage; and f.The steps taken to clean up and rehabilitate the area affected by the spillage 1.2 Either remove all material impacted by the spilled substance or remediate the area affected in accordance with the recommendations of the assessment conducted by the suitably qualified and experienced professional. 1.3 Transport to and dispose of any removed material at an Environment Protection Authority (EPA) facility duly licenced to accept the material. 1.4 Complete all requirements by 23 May 2023.
